Forget fans peeing ... dog fouling is even worse

- Robert Gray Posted online

SO, residents are up in arms as supporters leaving Hampden Park to urinate in public places as there is a lack of toilets available when caught short – thank god it’s not a number two they need.

I am more concerned about the dog fouling on our pavements than the urine by fans as it washes off and good for sterilising and killing germs but the dog mess causes far more diseases and blindness to our young playing on the pavements. Irresponsible owners turn a blind eye or are too lazy to pick it up.

Let’s start filming the dog owners and shame them.

People should remember that the fans who go for a pee in public might have a disability and really need to spend a penny. It’s not their fault if there are no public toilets or portable loos put in place.

However, dog walkers can scoop up the poop.

I would rather have the pee than the pavements covered in poo and then end up taking it home on your shoe.

That’s what I am annoyed about more rather than a supporter who is caught short.

SO, £14 million to resolve the issues (Tenants to be moved out of unsafe buildings set to be demolished in the Gorbals, Tuesday)?

Yet it’s going to cost likely over double that to re-house 276 families!

Then there is the several millions added to that to demolish them.

No surprise where Glasgow is concerned – you can be sure someone is making millions from this.

THE buildings been empty for years. Why the sudden rush by the council to take it back (Activists occupying former homeless hostel threatened with eviction, Tuesday)? Is it unsafe? Are they causing trouble? Name and address supplied

TROUBLE is these services need millions given to them to have any real meaniful impact (‘People are dying’ Nicola Sturgeon and Douglas Ross told as they visit drug project, Tuesday). They have been starved for years because it didn’t suit the political agenda. As long as these politicians keep their neb out but properly fund it, then it might work. Ross McKenzie Posted online

YES, people are dying because they are not receiving their cancer treatment in time, not self-inflicted drug abuse. What we have is a Scottish Parliament of cowards.
