It’s time for Scots to vote with theirheads
IREPLY back to recent Points of View correspondent Jim Tees in a spirit of ‘mindfulness’. The last referendum took place in 2014 amid a blaze of establishment lies and distortions of the facts.
This referendum needs to set the record straight.
I note that my assertions of never-ending lies from the Tory Government were not disputed.
The major change since 2014 is the disaster of Brexit which has been inflicted upon us even though we in Scotland voted against it. Even business leaders are expressing their fury at the way in which Brexit has wreaked havoc in terms of trade and transportation.
To leave a trading partnership of £300 million has to be the most stupid decision in history. It was mostly dictated by racism and a rush to the bottom of every league.
Independence is not about the SNP as the Scottish people would have the opportunity to finally elect a Government of its choosing, not one thrust upon them by the majority who reside down south.
We have enormous natural resources at our disposal in Scotland that we should be using for the good of our nation, not depending on meagre handouts back from London.
The media, Tories and Labour will no doubt be in cahoots once again in trying to thwart the will of the Scottish people. It’s what they do best.
Hopefully, this time the Scottish people will vote with their heads and ignore the nonsensical ‘vows’ which will once again spring up as the sabotage gets under way.

I FEEL sorry for people who don’t drive and cannot get to work due to the train strike.
The buses are just as bad these days in my view.
