A15-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested and charged after three people were attacked by a gang in Clydebank. A 43-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were walking through the underpass towards Kilbowie Road in the early hours of Saturday, June 18.

At around 12.40am, a group of males approached them and attacked them.

Shortly afterwards, the group targeted another man, aged 44, who was crossing the road.

All three victims were rushed to hospital following the attack.

While the teenage suspect is alleged to have been involved, cops are continuing their investigation to track down who is responsible.

One man is described as white, of slim build, aged between 15 and 20-years-old, with blonde hair.

He was wearing a long rain jacket with a fur-trimmed hood and tracksuit trousers.

Another is described as white, aged between 15 and 20-yearsold, with dark hair.

He was wearing a light grey hoody, dark tracksuit bottoms and carrying a black rucksack.

Now officers are scouring CCTV footage from the area and are urging any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.

Detective constable Craig McGarry said: “These attacks have been completely unprovoked and it’s imperative we trace whoever is responsible.

“I am appealing to motorists and taxi drivers with dashcams, who were in Kilbowie Road in the early hours of that morning to check their footage, they may have unknowingly captured images which would assist our investigation.

“If anyone has any information on this crime or the suspects, please get in touch.”
