IT’S the football announcement you have been waiting for – the Wee Red Book is back. Now in its 94th year, the Wee Red book in association with sponsor Seneca Medical Group, will be available to purchase for just £3.50 from today.

Listing everything from cup winners and league winners, up-coming fixtures and information on every Scottish player, the Wee Red Book is the most essential guide for any Scottish football fan.

Co-editor Stuart Sandler said: “This year’s edition celebrates another fantastic Scottish football season.

“However, among the highs, there have been several lows with legends of the game passing away.

“As usual the Wee Red

Book is packed with last season’s stats, including Rangers’ Europa League r u n to the final and Celtic’s league triumph.

“All the latest Scotland stats are recorded plus some top pictures from throughout the season.

“There is also a new league club featured with the addition of Bonnyrigg Rose to League Two following their promotion.”

Co-editor Jacqueline Brogan added: “Scottish football never ceases to amaze me. If I said at the start of the season that Celtic would win the league, double-cup winners St Johnstone would be fighting relegation, Steven Gerrard would leave Rangers

and also the Ibrox side would reach a European final I would have thought I was mad! But that is Scottish football for you. Hibs sack Jack Ross, appoint Shaun Maloney then sack him four months later. “And we also lost some greats during the season. Walter Smith was one of Scottish football’s best loved characters who passed away in October last year, and Celtic legend Bertie Auld died in November. “Hold on to your hat for another great season ahead, and another great Wee Red Book.”
