The Government can’t have its cake and eat it
SEE if I hear the term “ageing population” once more, I’ll take out my wallies and hearing aids and fire them at the telly!! We were helped, encouraged and sometimes even forced to take part in all sorts of ways to improve our health.
It was a success and my generation are now reaping the rewards of that hard work and feeling good about it. ( So good that we’re the latest in childminding and saving our families a fortune in childcare).
Now it seems the Government is spitting the dummy out about its move. Well in the words of wee Greta: blah blah to that!

I’M glad to see former SNP minister Alex Neil speaking out about the nodding donkeys in the Scottish Parliament who are gagged by party whips from asking serious questions of their own party.
We were promised a progressive and transparent Scottish Parliament when it came into power, now I see a regressive Parliament where MSPs are gagged if they do not toe the party line.

THANK you so much for shining a light on the great work that Men Matter Scotland do for the community.
People can be especially down after the holidays and mental health charities like this are so important.

WHAT a hero that young man Ryan McGeachie is for saving that wee girl who was thrown to safety from the fire in Ibrox.
I couldn’t imagine being in a situation like that girl’s mother and being so terrified for their lives, and Ryan’s quick- thinking really saved the day and prevented things from being a lot worse.
We need more people like him in the world.

HE is a hero, he probably doesn’t realise it but you do really need a level of composure to handle that situation and he done it.
He should be very proud of himself for the way he handled it. Natalie Reid
