Driven crazy by potholes on roads in our city

-

MECHANICS must rub their hands together when they see all the potholes on roads in and outside of Glasgow. Surely they will be coining it in by replacing tyres and springs on cars that have been damaged on our crater- filled roads.

I agree with your reader who recently flagged up the roads around Costco and Tesco in Springburn as among the worst in the city. There must be so many claims into the council for the access roads to Tesco and Costco.

Maybe one day these roads will be properly repaired and maintained.

I SEE that the teachers are taking more strike action next month.

I think they are pushing it too far now.

Do they even care about the impact this will have on the education of their pupils?

Of course not, they are just being greedy now and should get back to work and enjoy their weeks and weeks of annual leave. Name and address supplied

I READ that there are proposals for more student flats in Glasgow at Anderston Quay.

How many flats for students do we actually need?

They are taking over Glasgow with student accommodation.

We need affordable homes for families rather than student digs! Jason Robertson Glasgow

I TRAVELLED twice recently from Edinburgh Airport and I’m surprised at how much better the facilities are that it has available to its passengers.

In my view, it had more bars, restaurants and shops after you go through security. I also often find flights are cheaper from Edinburgh than Glasgow Airport.

Glasgow Airport should offer more to its passengers if it hopes to compete.

I CAN’T believe how much some items in supermarkets have shot up in price. Even products such as kitchen and toilet rolls have surged recently. When will this ever end?
