Ex- Celtic star stars in new show

-

AN ex- Celtic star is among the celebs starring in a new BBC series filmed in Glasgow.

Celebrity Bridge of Lies returns for a second eight- part series on BBC One with a star- studded lineup of famous faces hoping to win cash for their chosen charities.

Presenter Ross Kemp helps the teams across the interactive bridge as they take care to step on the truths and avoid the lies - if they step on a lie, they risk going home empty- handed.

The first episode kicks off on Saturday, April 6, and will feature big names such as former Hoops player and Homes Under the Hammer host Dion Dublin, Sam Quek, Melvin Odoom and Joanna Page.

Filmed at the BBC’s Pacific Quay studios in Glasgow, the new series sees the introduction of the new ‘ Hotline’ feature, which allows the contestants to seek advice from their teammates in the Waiting Room if they’re stuck.

Ross said: “I have such a brilliant time filming the daytime version of Bridge of Lies, but there’s something about the celebrity series that ramps the jeopardy up a gear. Maybe it’s the fact that the celebs are doing it for charity or simply that they have reputations to uphold!

“This year’s series is filled with big personalities and the competition is fiercer than ever.

“But remember celebrities, it’s Saturday night so let’s have some fun too!”

Later episodes will feature Sinitta, Ian ‘ H’ Watkins, Ritchie Neville and Una Healy, Gethin Jones, Dr Ranj Singh, Anna Haugh, Briony May Williams, Chris Bisson, Lucy- Jo Hudson, Simon Gregson and Danielle Harold.

Celebrity Bridge of Lies returns to BBC One and iPlayer at 5.40pm on Saturday, April 6.

Bridge of Lies continues weekdays at 4.30pm.
