Family Business of the Year, sponsored by Willans LLP

Willans LLP, which has been part of the Cheltenham community since 1947, will be presenting the award to the winner on the night.

Paul Symes-thompson, head of the firm’s corporate and commercial team, commented: “We are pleased to be supporting an award that recognises family businesses as vital ingredients in Cheltenham’s thriving businesses community.

“We have been advising family business owners for generations, so we’ve seen first-hand the talent, innovation and hard work involved in their day-today operation.

“Despite the many hurdles they are faced with, family businesses generate nearly half of the UK’S private sector jobs.

“They are critical to the economic health of our town – and their success is truly something to be proud of.

“It’s great to see finalists from a diverse range of sectors and each of these would make a worthy winner.

“We wish Beards Jewellers, Chi Wai Black Belt Academy and Cleevely Motors Ltd the very best of luck and will be delighted to present one of these businesses with the award this September.”
