-

» GLOUCESTERSHIRE will make a second attempt on Sunday to play their ECB Over 50 County Championship quarter-final against Leicestershire & Rutland.

Rain forced the tie, originally scheduled for Rockhampton, to be called off and it will now take place at Redmarley (1pm).

Jem Brooks’ side booked a home tie thanks to a 121-run victory over Huntingdonshire at Frocester, making it eight out of eight for the season.

Ed Gordon-lennox (80), Bill Johnson (51 not) and Hugh Leeke (43) top scored in the home side’s challenge of 253 for seven before John Courtney (4-30) and Chris Trembath (4-22) dismissed Huntingdonshire for just 132.
