The Brizen Youth Centre will restart on September 3 at 6pm. Anyone aged 13 -18 in the area will be welcome and the sessions are run by qualified youth workers.

There is plenty to do with pool, computers, TV and trips out, based in a beautiful recreation field.

The next Warden Hill Ladies Group meeting is Wednesday, September 12, at 7.30pm. A talk on Dunkerton’s Cider will be followed with samples and a ploughman’s supper.

The group welcomes any new members.

Warden Hill police drop-in service is manned by two PCSOS at Sadars Cafe, Salisbury Avenue on October 16 and November 15, both 2–3pm.

The next Leckhampto­n with Warden Hill Parish Council meeting takes place on September 6 at Leckhampto­n Village Hall, 7.35pm.

All parishione­rs are welcome to raise any issues.

The table tennis tournament has been reschedule­d for August 25 with free coaching sessions available at the Salisbury Avenue outdoor Table Tennis facilities starting at 5.30pm every Monday.

Cheltenham Big Band Society meets monthly at the Village Hall Up Hatherley.

Take the opportunit­y to listen to some of the best of the big bands on Friday, August 31, at 2.30pm, £2 entry including refreshmen­ts. Councillor Chris Nelson holds the Leckhampto­n with Warden Hill Parish Council community surgery on the first Saturday of each month at 10am-noon in Morrison’s Cafe, off Caernarvon Road.
