AWARD-WINNING distillers, tea entrepreneurs, IT consultants and even a global fashion mogul were all on Gloucestershire Live’s inaugural 30 under 30 list last year - and now it’s your turn.

In 2019 we turned the spotlight on the rising stars of Gloucestershire business with our 30 under 30 list, sponsored by the University of Gloucestershire.

It showcased talented businesspeople and employees from across the county and in a wide range of industries, from a bakery and barbecue sauce company, to social media, accountancy and even a head chef.

We listed Gloucestershire names such as Ash White of Hera and the siblings behind Sibling Distillery, but this year could be your turn as we’re opening up nominations.

Last year, Janina Neumann of Janina Neumann Design was one of the young businesspeople included.

She said at the time that she was delighted to be on the 30 under 30 list and added: “I hope it inspires other young people to fulfil their potential and break the expectation you have to have a job before you can start your own business.”

If you’ve been inspired to start your own business, or have helped to see your employer through a tough period of lockdown, the nnominate yourself now for this year’s 30 under 30 list.

This year every person who makes the final list will automatically be entered into the longlist for the Gloucestershire Business Awards Young Business Person of the Year Award, which will be held later this year.

The business must be based in Gloucestershire and the nominee must be aged under 30 or 30 (if they started their business before their 30th birthday).
