HOW would you describe your lunch during lockdown? Have your homemade sandwiches started to look a lot less appealing? Well, it’s time to pass it back to the experts as Subway has now reopened in Gloucestershire. The sandwich chain has been following government guidelines during the coronavirus crisis, and can now open its doors to serve customers their favourite sub, salad or signature loaded wrap. The good news is the full menu is still available, so from the Meatball Marinara sub to the chicken salad, customers in Gloucestershire can continue to order as normal. Subway has also supported NHS, HSE and key workers during the pandemic. Franchise owners have donated over a quarter of a million subs to local communities, key workers and those in need. Local franchisee owner, Susan Pasco, said: “We are delighted to be back as we’ve missed you. We are open in Gloucestershire for takeaway and delivery, but we are doing a phased approach so not all stores will be available. “Our restaurants have been adapted to ensure we follow government guidelines, and our sandwich artists are working hard to maintain the Subway experience you know and love. “We will ensure the continued protection of guests, third party delivery and supplier drivers, sandwich artists and the wider communities in which we serve. “You might need to queue, but please bear with us as we promise it will be worth the wait.”

HOW TO ORDER

One of the ways Subway has adapted is by offering a delivery service through Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo. In selected areas in Gloucestershire, these partners will deliver Subway orders so customers won’t even need to leave their home office. All sandwich lovers need to do is order through the Just Eat, Uber Eats or Deliveroo website and a freshly prepared sandwich, salad or wrap will be on its way. To find out which stores have reopened in Gloucestershire, visit the store locator on the Subway website. Don’t forget, Subway is also open for takeaway so walk-in customers are allowed in the Gloucestershire stores. Takeaway is still popular and Subway is well equipped for serving customers safely in the current pandemic. Plus, pre-ordering and collecting in store is available through the Subcard app. So with Subway’s takeaway and delivery service now open, your favourite lunch can be just around the corner.
