-

BISHOP’S Cleeve bounced back from Saturday’s 4-2 loss at Brimscombe & Thrupp by sinking Shrivenham 6-0 on Tuesday night.

Paul Collicutt’s men were being held 0-0 at half-time, but turned on the style after the break.

Tyrone Tucker-dixon started the ball rolling from the penalty spot, then Sam Blackie added a second.

Morgan Evans made it three then goals in the last 10 minutes for Matt Sysum, Lucas Price and Archie Haskayne rounded it off.

Their squad included former Tuffley Rovers manager Mark Pritchett, who made his debut at Brimscombe.

Central defender Pritchett, who played under Collicutt during his first spell as boss at Cleeve, has also previously played for Shortwood United and Cirencester Town, where he was club captain.

He left Cirencester to take over as player/manager at Tuffley, but he stepped down in August after four years at the helm.

Pritchett started out at Gloucester City before spells with Slimbridge, Hardwicke and Cinderford Town before his first spell at Kayte Lane.

He was part of Shortwood’s memorable run to the first round proper of the FA Cup in 2013/14.

Barnes sealed it for the Lilywhites.

On Saturday, Fairford rescued a point in a 1-1 draw against Royal Wootton Bassett thanks to Dan Bailey’s goal in the 87th minute.

In Division One West on Tuesday night, Callum Trott scored and was sent off in Bourton Rovers’ 1-1 draw with Clanfield 85.
