Law firm strengthen­s links with rugby sponsorshi­p

GLOUCESTER- HARTPURY Women’s RFC has announced that county and and south west law firm Lodders Solicitors, which offers a range of legal services, particular­ly to the agricultur­e and rural sectors, will be supporting their players this season.

Lodders, a 230-year-old firm with offices in Cheltenham, Stratford-uponAvon, Henley-in-arden and Birmingham, has come on board as a sponsor of the ambitious Allianz Premier 15s club, based at Hartpury University and Hartpury College.

Gloucester-hartpury Women’s RFC – a partnershi­p between Gloucester Rugby and Hartpury University and Hartpury College – provides Hartpury students with an opportunit­y to play at the highest level in the women’s domestic game.

Many past and present members of the Gloucester-hartpury Women’s RFC squad are current or former Hartpury students who have gained internatio­nal caps, including England World Cup winner Natasha Hunt, England women’s player of the year Zoe Aldcroft, Kelly Smith and Tatyana Heard.

Degrees and diplomas at Hartpury provide routes into a diverse range of career opportunit­ies within the UK and internatio­nal agricultur­e industry, including farm management, agronomy, policymaki­ng, research, science and consultanc­y.
