The Cobalt Cancer Service are making their mobile CT scanners available to NHS England to support patients with the coronavirus, cancer and other urgent health conditions across the country to where they are needed.

The mobile CT scanners will be staffed by our radiographers and we may support the new field hospitals. The Imaging Centres in Cheltenham and Birmingham will provide urgent scans for cancer patients to enable them to continue with their treatment.

Research nurses work alongside doctors and with patients for local, national and international research trials. These posts are not funded by the NHS and medical charity Cobalt needs to raise over £100,000 each year in donations to fund these nurses. Cleeve Common is the largest common in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Common is a conservation area and Site of Special Scientific Interest for its geology, habitats and botany and it contains a wealth of archaeological interest, including three Scheduled Monuments.
