THE Three Counties Showground has launched its Malvern Winter Glow, a dazzling outdoor illuminati­ons trail, with visitors told to be prepared to be spellbound by an extravagan­za of light.

Home to the RHS Malvern Spring Festival and the world-renowned Royal Three Counties Show, the 90-acre showground has been transforme­d into a festive celebratio­n of light.

Taking place between December 9 and January 3 2021 excluding Christmas Day, tickets are available in advance with timed entry (selected at the time of booking) and limited numbers.

The Winter Glow offers a magical journey of discovery, where visitors can marvel at the dramatic light installati­ons inspired by the area’s natural landscape, history and heritage.

Head of Shows Diana Walton explained: “The beginning of December marks the start of a special time for many people, and with so many Christmas events being cancelled this year, the team at the Three Counties Showground has worked hard to make the end of 2020 as memorable as possible.”

“Malvern Winter Glow is an exciting new addition to the region’s festive calendar and will make the most of the showground’s vast space, with numbers limited to only 30 families per session. ”

The Winter Glow will feature 10 sessions per night, with the first session starting at 4.40pm.

As numbers are limited, visitors can wander and explore and have time to take photos.

A range of seasonal food and drink vendors will be on hand to add a festive cheer to the evening.

This event is advanced tickets only with a special Family Ticket of up to five people for £48 (maximum two adults per family ticket although additional tickets can be purchased with adult tickets £16 each, Children aged 3 to 16 tickets £11 each and under 3s go free.
