Award-winning scheme is searching for latest recruits

» KOHLER Mira is looking for new apprentices to join its award-winning scheme.

The Early Careers programme includes an apprenticeship offering and was voted Training Provider of the Year at the Gloucestershire Live Apprenticeship Awards 2019.

The Cheltenham business is now offering students the opportunity to join the team from September 2021 via one of two routes, either the business apprenticeship or engineering apprenticeship.

The business apprenticeship is open to students who have completed A-level or equivalent qualifications.

Rotational placements form the basis of the role with rotations in marketing, supply chain and international commercial business, RADA.

In addition, business apprentices study for a Project Management qualification, allowing them to not only acquire but to also apply practical and transferable skills in a real-world environment.

The engineering apprenticeship allows apprentices to embark on the role following the completion of either GCSES, A-levels or equivalent.

Engineering apprentices will study full-time for the first year of their apprenticeship and join the team on site during half terms to put their skills into practice.

A virtual open evening will take place on Wednesday January 20 to allow prospective apprentices to gather additional information and to talk directly to the team. Applications for the scheme close on 10 February 2021.

Recent engineering graduate, Jake Blagden, is currently working as a Team Leader within operations whilst also studying for his HND.

From second year onward, apprentices rotate around every engineering function, including new product development, operations and maintenance to name a few.

Every apprentice has access to a dedicated manager in order to support them and to ensure that they achieve the breadth of experience required across functions relevant to their roles.
