Do you know of a voluntary group that might be interested in planting trees for your local community? Perhaps you are already a volunteer, or would like to run a volunteering group?

If so Gloucestershire County Council new Tree Officer, Sara Noons would like to hear from you. Sara is looking to work with communities and other organisations, to build a ‘Tree Planting Network Group’ where by working together it will increase tree cover in the county.

If you are interested in trees and wish to get involved, then please email glosclimate@gloucestershire.gov.uk. You will receive an invitation to an introductory meeting where you can find out more.

A discussion will be held at this meeting to create a mobile volunteer network, how to get trees to plant in winter 2022 and a recap on tree planting actions taken so far.
