LIVING THROUGH HISTORY Night of glitz and glamour for good cause

- » with The Cheltenham Trust

THE Cheltenham Trust is hosting a special Gin and Cabaret Gala night spectacular and with your support a positive difference will be made to the lives of children with cancer, helping them and their families during exceptionally difficult times.

The trust, which is an independent charity, this week launched its first collaborative charity event, the Gin and Cabaret Gala night in support of the Emily’s Gift charity appeal.

The gala is the first charity collaboration for the trust, signifying the trust’s mission to reinvest in the local community to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of local residents and visitors to the town.

The Cheltenham Trust is pleased and proud to support Emily’s Gift for its first event of this kind.

The gala night is an opportunity to dress to impress and enjoy an experience that will appeal to the senses, a night of glitz and glamour of the highest calibre, cabaret, exquisite dining and an exclusive after party, while raising funds for an inspirational and invaluable charity appeal.

This unique event takes place on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Cheltenham Town Hall and is supported by Gloucester Brewery and Fox’s Kiln Distillery, with the aim of generating funds to help Emily’s Gift reach its £500,000 fundraising target. Emily’s Gift appeal was launched in March 2023 by Julie Kent MBE under the umbrella of the Pied Piper Charity. The appeal comes to an end in March 2024.

The year-long Emily’s Gift appeal aims to raise money to fund a psychologist on the Emily Kent Unit (paediatric oncology) at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for 10 years, to provide invaluable emotional support to children having cancer treatment and their families.

The Cheltenham Trust manages the town’s most iconic and contemporary venues in Cheltenham and provides a diverse year-round programme of cultural events and entertainment, as well as leisure, sport and heritage.

Through its commercial activities the trust raises funding to provide free community events and activities, enabling thousands of local residents and visitors to the town to enjoy exclusive access to live music, entertainment, art and culture.

Tickets for the exclusive charity gala night are now on sale with both classic and VIP tickets, which include an exclusive after party.
