» WERE you one of the 10,000 people who celebrated the coronation at last summer’s party in the park? Perhaps you were at Pittville Pump Room last winter to welcome the festive season at the annual Christmas lights switch on of the iconic pump room, or maybe you and your family have participated in and enjoyed this Easter’s range of free activities?

These are just some of the many free and inclusive events provided each year by The Cheltenham Trust for the community, events that are easy to access and enjoy and be part of.

These events do so much to bring people together to create that all important feel-good factor, and to improve our collective health and wellbeing.

As a charity, the trust reinvests any surplus it makes from its business operations to enable it to host these community events and activities, from children’s creative and sports activities during the school holidays; Cheltenham’s largest and most popular Christmas lights switch on, creative and festive markets; free live music for the long summer weekends at the Garden Bar; free access to the town’s history, art and heritage at The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum and Pittville Pump Room; and large celebrations to mark major and national historic occasions.

The trust recognises the benefits of coming together to make a difference and the feeling of wellbeing that brings. By joining the trust, as a member, you’ll not only be supporting your own community and helping to make that difference, but also unlocking great benefits for yourself and your family including free coffees, discounts, and early access to shows and bookings, and you’ll be supporting your own town and community.

Together we can do even more to improve the health and wellbeing of our community and individuals making culture, arts, heritage, and leisure accessible and available for everyone to enjoy and reap the benefits. We look forward to welcoming you to the trust family.
