Cobra is a brand that has never been afraid to stand out by trying something new, and its 2017 range of irons is no exception. The One Length iron, in particular, personifies groundbreaking innovation and forward thinking while still acknowledging the needs of the average club golfer.

You may wonder, and rightly so, why irons were not always made this way, just like you may question why a round of golf is 18 holes, or why 14 clubs were deemed the appropriate amount. But what you should be in no doubt about is the potential this concept has to improve your game. It’s not for everyone, and there are some minor flaws, but curiosity should at least encourage you to try it for yourself before passing judgement.
