At the top of the backswing, he gets a lot of left wrist flexion – or bow, as it’s sometimes referred to. I like this and believe it’s one of the reasons why he’s such a consistent driver of the ball. When the wrist moves to maximum flexion, he can achieve the same top-of-backswing position time after time.
