Mizuno continues to make some of the very finest irons in golf. Grain Flow Forged HD at its legendary facility in Hiroshima, Japan, Mizuno irons have long been a favourite of top professionals and amateurs alike.
The JPX921 Forged iron delivers a superb blend of power, control and forgiveness. It will help players of varying abilities get the very most from their game. Exceptionally fast ball speeds combine with classic looks and a decent level of workability to deliver great versatility.
POWER OF CHROMOLY
Mizuno’s JPX921 Forged iron integrates the power of a steel alloy called chromoly (first used in Mizuno’s Hot Metal iron) into a full-body forged iron for the first time. Chromoly has made the crossover to Mizuno’s forgings with excellent results. Tests show the fastest ball speeds Mizuno has ever produced from a fully forged iron thanks to a clubface that’s 0.5mm thinner than on previous models.
In addition, perimeter weighting with a toe bias maximises stability through the strike and this is further enhanced by a wider Cnc-milled back slot.
This iron unquestionably produces excellent, impressive distance and a strong ball flight. We also found the JPX921 Forged iron to produce very consistent results, even on slightly off-centre strikes.
FEEL OF A PLAYERS’ CLUB
