Bushnell has made improvements in one or two other areas, too. The screen is slightly larger than its predecessor’s and the text is 40 per cent larger, too, so it’s easier to read, even in bright sunlight. The upgrade also sees improvements to the BITE magnetic cart mount plus a new cradle, so your device will stay securely fixed.
Considering its size, Phantom 2 packs a big punch. If you’re in search of a GPS device but don’t want to pay for a bunch of features that you’re unlikely to use, the Phantom 2 should definitely be on your shortlist.
