THIS MONTH, WE WANTED TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS

-

Q.What will you do differently in 2019?

A.I’ll have more time for me and won’t be afraid to say no. I always agree to too many things and regret it! I’m going to slow down and enjoy everything. CHARLOTTE THOROGOOD

I’ll try to do more things that take a lot of effort, such as learning to play the drums that I bought three years ago and have been gathering dust. JULIE SHIELDS

What I’ll (try to) do is stop feeling guilty for not going to the gym on my days off work. Instead, I’ll go for a walk and do more gardening. WENDY FEARN

I want to live more in the present and worry less about the future. VALERIA FISICHELLA

Be kinder to myself. To be kind to others is easy – extending this to myself, not so much. BETH MORRIS

I will make time for my family and friends. As you get older you realise how precious time with your loved ones is. CLARE WILLIAMSON

Let people know how I feel instead of not speaking up in case I upset or offend. Today’s young women have the confidence I wish I had years ago. SUSAN MITCHELL

I will spend less time procrastinating and do something useful with my spare time, such as volunteering at a hospital. VERA PARFITT

Buy less but spend more on quality items to cut down on waste. CLAIR MEREDITH
