✶ HOW WE TESTED We used the same testing procedure we use with branded hydrating face creams to test 11 own-brand day creams and 10 own-brand night creams with 250 women over a two-week period. They assessed the packaging design of each cream, as well as its texture, effects and more. We used a specialist device to measure the hydration of skin immediately after application and again after six hours to determine how effective each cream was.
