 When I’m writing, I look at what I consider to be masterful stories: In Cold Blood by Truman Capote and The Silence Of The Lambs by Thomas Harris.

 I read a biography of Queen Victoria called

Victoria: A Life by A.N. Wilson. I recently read that Victoria was very technologically minded and was one of the first to collect photographs.

 I love to read a lot of biographies. I’d recommend Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff. I’m stunned by the way these biographers recreate a life right in front of you.
