● The last great film you saw… Honey Boy on Amazon Prime. It stayed with me for days after I watched it.

● The film you could watch over and over… Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade – I’m an Indiana Jones fanatic. My mum says that when I was little, I refused to answer to any other name than Indie!

● The performance that made you cry… When Henrik Larsson scored the most incredible goal I’ve ever seen for Celtic FC against Rangers… does that count? They were tears of joy!

● The performance you’d tell everyone to see… Stephen Graham in This Is England. He gives an absolute powerhouse of a performance.

● The podcast you loved… The Two Shot Podcast by Craig Parkinson. When you listen to interviews with actors, their answers often sound rehearsed, but these are incredibly honest. It’s reassuring to hear that many of the actors I’ve adored for years have had the same struggles and the same self-doubt as me.

● The last box set you binged on… Perry Mason on Sky, which really took me by surprise, and Bridgerton on Netflix. Posh accents, rich people’s problems and ridiculous costumes are usually everything I hate about TV, but I couldn’t stop watching Bridgerton.

● Top of your TV planner this month… Channel 4’s Derry Girls. It’s phenomenal, full of heart and perfect if you need a bit of cheering up.

● The last album you loved… The Bonny by Gerry Cinnamon, whose songs really resonate with me. If I’ve had a few drinks, watching Gerry playing on Youtube is my go-to move.

● The book that inspired you… I recently read The Young Team by Graeme Armstrong. It’s a powerful story about growing up in Scotland and it transported me back to when I was young and running about the streets of Greenock.

● The best recommendation you received… When I was hungover one morning, a friend of mine, the actor Neil Maskell, took me to the Curzon cinema in Soho to see Beasts Of No Nation. I thought it was going to be a chance to have a doze, but it was so good I didn’t want it to end.

● The ticket you’d love to get your hands on… I’m gutted that I never got to see Mark Rylance in Jerusalem. For me, that’s the ultimate ticket.  Line Of Duty is coming this month to BBC One and BBC iplayer
