Nivea Q10 Energy Fresh Look Eye Cream, £12.49 83/100

The tube dispensed the perfect amount of product, which spread easily over skin to plump and nourish. Our testers’ crow’s feet and fine lines were smoother after the trial period, but the deeper wrinkles remained unchanged.

✶ HOW WE TESTED More than 430 testers tried a range of eye creams with anti-ageing or anti-wrinkle claims for four weeks, reporting their effect on fine lines, crow’s feet, deep wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness, moisture levels and firmness. A panel of 300 testers trialled 23 foundations designed for dry skin over a two-week period, assessing coverage, blendability, hydration and appearance. In our beauty lab, we used a hydration probe to measure hydration immediately after application and six hours later.
