Sail around the CARIBBEAN ISLANDS

Island-hop around the unspoiled Caribbean on Golden Horizon

-

News that Tradewind’s Golden Horizon is relocating to the Caribbean for the winter could not have been better timed. After most of us have experienced a summer close to home due to turbulent times, the thought of island-hopping across the sun-drenched West Indies is exactly the tonic we all need.

These are no ordinary voyages – and an amazing addition to our Centenary Collection! You can choose from three amazing itineraries (or combine two or all three at a discounted rate), which will take in classic Caribbean destinations that need little introduction (St Lucia, Barbados, Antigua, St Barthélemy, Grenada, St Kitts and Tobago), as well as some of the most untouched corners of the region (Guadeloupe and its magical islands, the natural wonder that is Dominica, rum-soaked French Martinique, St Vincent and the glorious Grenadines, and the sailing mecca of Bequia).

Whichever you choose, you’ll start out with a night in a four-star hotel in Barbados, which will give you a chance to acclimatise before setting off on a round-trip adventure from Bridgetown.

You can be as active as you like, with a choice of fantastic optional excursions – from snorkelling trips, amazing diving and kayaking among stunning islets and tropical beaches to rum distillery tastings, botanical gardens, barefoot beach bars

and rainforest walks. And you’ll enjoy the thrill of travelling on the world’s largest square-rigged sailing vessel, Golden Horizon, which will operate under sail whenever possible. The ship features a spa; pools; a marina (complete with watersports); a gym; great food, including local delicacies; informative lectures and brilliant entertainment.
