TRINNY'S NEW LINE MAKE-UP

IT USED TO BE that any celebrity worth her salt had a fragrance (22, if you were Britney). But if the latest make-up launches are anything to go by, owning a cosmetics brand is now the marker of success. This year, Kim Kardashian dropped KKW, Rihanna caused pandemonium with Fenty Beauty, Paris Hilton released Unicorn Mist (of course) and Kelly Rowland revealed her plans for a full line of cosmetics. With a captive audience in place, these brands were set to be big from the get-go, but one we didn’t see coming? Trinny London.

Created by Trinny Woodall, of What Not To Wear fame, this 11-product-strong collection is based on one simple premise: buy less. While brands worldwide are expanding product lines and offering more colourways than you’d find in a rainbow, Trinny is giving you every product you need in creamy, balmy formulas. And they’re good.

There’s Flush Blush, £20, which practically melts into your skin for a look that says ‘I’ve just been on a brisk walk through the park’; Eye2eye, £18, which glides over your lids with ease but, once in place, doesn’t budge; The Right Light, £25, a subtle highlighter that creates a natural glow instead of making your cheek look like it’s been licked by a unicorn; and aptly named foundation Just A Touch, £28, which can be blended all over for a sheer finish or just dabbed where needed. But the best part? The products come in small stackable pots that click together, so you can take your whole beauty arsenal everywhere you go. That’s your carry-on sorted, then.
