HERE’S TO OUR BOYS
Just read How my son’s autism diagnosis changed me forever. My son has just been diagnosed with ASD and the final sentence bought a tear to my eye and a firm head nod in affirmation. Thanks for sharing – makes me feel much less alone. @Welshysworld
WHY JUDGE US?
Both my husband and I are in no rush for children – we like our sleep and freedom too much! However, a big part of our hesitation is exactly Amy’s thoughts (‘ I won’t have children because of climate change’, 11 Dec). Why do we want to add to the surplus population? Why bring more children into a world that is falling apart around us? Thank you Amy for being the only other person who I have ever heard who feels the same. We have a responsibility to help other people to listen. Danielle
THERE IS HOPE !
After a year of Trump, the rise of the far right in Europe, the persistence of misogyny and corruption in all areas, I was depressed because it all seemed so entrenched. Then I read the various articles in the 2 Jan issue (maybe George and Amal could turn things around? Women have said enough is enough! Katie has escaped Cruise control!). Could I dare to feel hopeful going into 2018? Yes. Thank you for focusing my attention on some of those trying to make a difference. It inspires me to get involved. Fiona
THAT’S US TOLD
Michelle Obama doesn’t represent 99.99% of the world’s opinion on Trump. We elected him, so butt out. Kit
