After shifting and scheduling issues, the amazing SMILF finally makes it to British shores this week. The Single Mother of the acronym is Frankie Shaw, retelling some of her IRL story as an aspiring Boston actress. The first season is as good as Girls, in its own, rather more down-at-heel manner.
