gloss over
A Krispy Kreme skin sheen has never looked so good. From the Korean trend for ‘glass’ skin to a new wave of high-shine products hitting the shelves, the beauty world is having a glossy moment. Not to be confused with greasy, this is a lit-from-within glow that looks healthy first and foremost. Andrew recommends prepping the skin with a facial oil, focusing on the areas you want to look lit (namely the high points of your face) and correcting any dry patches: ‘It will give the skin a glowing shine with zero stickiness.’ For extra coverage, follow with a lightweight, dewy-finish foundation or colour-correcting primer. For extra slick, a layer of balmy gloss on the cheekbones will do the trick.
