Chart of lust
WHO we’re loving and living for this week
UP MATT LEBLANC
Finally, a new series of Episodes, featuring the silverest of all the foxes – Leblanc – delivering our favourite TV conceit: a real person doing a fictionalised version of themselves.
4. NEW IN MARIA MAHMOOD
The first Miss England contestant to wear a hijab: the psychology student daughter of a cabbie running her own, quiet, unexpected revolution.
5. UP LILY BRAZIER
The artist also known as Mich in People Just Do Nothing, currently rewriting the archetype on Sitcom Mum in BBC Three’s Wannabe. Wannabe Delusional, ruthless, drunken: all our faves in one.
NEW IN ANGELA RYE
CNN commentator and political activist who last week split up from hip-hop star Common, thus making herself
extremely eligible.
NEW IN MIGUEL GOMEZ
As the charmingly limited, extremely easy-on-the-eye baby daddy Rafi in Showtime’s exquisite
SMILF. Another fine reason to watch it (which makes about 37 in total, so far).
NON- MOVER JAY-Z
Last week said he’d wept when his mother came out as gay to him. (NB Increasingly, we think there’s too much crying going on, but we’ll let this one pass.)
9. NEW IN WOODY THE LAMB
Ran riot on Lorraine, after JLS’ JB Gill brought him on with him. Christine Lampard had to forcibly remove him ( Woody) from set.
3. NEW IN EPSY CAMPBELL BARR
Costa Rica’s first black female vice president, voted in last week. A liberal economist with a truly excellent name.
7. UP TULISA
Last week won a legal battle against will.i.am and Britney, whom she sued after they left her out of co-writing credits on song
Scream & Shout. So much going on here, and we lust for it all.
10. DOWN MEN CALLED HARVEY
Soon to be extinct, if a new baby name survey is to be believed. We’ve known a couple, in our time, found them pleasant enough.
