At the end of the day…

I train six days a week so, in the evenings, when I first walk through my front door, I take my shoes off, flop on the bed, then get up to cook or tidy. I also like to light a scented candle and make myself a mint tea. I live alone in a modern flat in Kent, and my favourite thing in my home is the bath taps – that is such an adult thing to say! They’re an old Victorian style and so traditional, I love them.

I’m a book person, rather than a film person. The book I’ve been recommending for over a year now is This Is Going To Hurt by Adam Kay. It’s fantastic – it made me laugh, cry and get angry. One of my favourite novels is One Day. It’s the most heartbreakingly sad, romantic story – me and my friend read it at the same time and were crying every time we brought it up. As for podcasts, I can’t listen to them because I get distracted and my attention span is awful. I’m very strange because I can’t watch things or read books more than once, when I know what happens at the end.

I’m a Netflix girl, and I binge a lot of series like House Of Cards and Pose. I’m also the biggest Rupaul’s Drag Race fan. The athleticism, the artistry, everything – I love it! It’s so much sparkle, it’s me! A few months ago, I went to the Pride of Britain awards and saw Baga Chipz. I freaked out, and now we follow each other on Instagram.

My exercise routine is hard work. I like technical sessions where I have to challenge my body to balance, hold positions correctly, and make my legs go faster than

I think they can in my head. It’s like a game. Because I’m hypermobile [where joints are unusually flexible], I can’t do yoga or Pilates.

My phone is always within reach somewhere, but I don’t spend all that much time on social media. Instead, to decompress, I chat with friends. I’m known for calling them up, sticking my phone in my bra and walking around cooking and chatting for hours. I’m in six active Whatsapp groups and two super-active ones. I like hosting dinner parties, too. My closest friends won’t mind if I mess the dinner up but, if it’s people who I don’t see very often, I’ll normally buy in COOK meals, to be safe.

I make a lot of Caribbean food and I like to eat healthily. I eat a lot of protein, carbs, fibre and dairy – so things like salmon, chicken, vegetables... or the Müller Corner Creations Pretzel Party! At the moment, I’m really into macaroni cheese. My idea of food hell is anything with a soft, squidgy texture, like bananas. I eat them all the time for potassium and performance but I hate them with a passion.

I’m always in my bed by

10.30pm, but not necessarily asleep. I sleep on the left side, always, and never with my make-up on.

My bedtime skincare routine has steps and steps and steps. I’m a skincare freak. At the moment, I like Oskia London, Dr Barbara Sturm, the Glossier serums, Audacity, face masks from The Body Shop and REN Skincare. I’m at that point where my bathroom could be doing reviews.
