Keep snug for less with sustainable wood fuel

-

AS energy costs continue to rise, we are all looking for ways to keep our homes warm for less.

Logs are considered to be one of the cheapest forms of heating energy, and of course provide a delightful source of warmth - especially with the increasing costs of gas and electricity.

Caledonian Wood Fuels is a local supplier of sustainable wood fuel products in the form of kiln dried firewood logs, kindling and wood chip for biomass boilers.

It was set up to make best use of all materials produced from their sister company Caledonian Tree Services. All logs and kindling are produced as by-products of their commercial tree cutting business – making the whole operation as sustainable and as eco-friendly as possible. Caledonian Tree Services is an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor and CHAS (Construction Health & Safety) approved ensuring as a company they are fully trained, fully insured and highly professional.

Caledonian Wood fuels is certified by Woodsure and have recently invested in new biomass boilers and drying facilities to ensure all logs are properly dried, giving you the best heat value possible from your logs.

All Hardwood logs are mixed Scottish Hardwoods from within the central belt of Scotland reducing the carbon footprint of the logs they offer for sale.

Caledonian Wood Fuels provides Kiln dried Hardwood Logs, Kiln dried Softwood Logs and

Seasoned Kindling. Logs are dried to a maximum of 20% moisture contact and sold by volume and not weight. This means you are paying for the wood and not water.

All log deliveries are made ‘loose tipped’ but they also offer a stacking service at an additional charge. All costs including delivery charges are on the website: caledonianwoodfuels.com
