A CLEETHORPES man has captured a strange midnight sighting over the seaside town.

Geoff Peck recorded ‘moving lights’ in the sky on Thursday, October 8 at about 12am.

He claims to have seen them on other nights in other parts of the sky too

eoff told the Grimsby Telegraph: “I took these videos and photos of a light in the sky – I’m not sure what it might be.

“I really don’t know now what to think – I’ve seen it quite a few times over different nights in different parts of the sky.”

Geoff questioned ed whether the strange light was “just ust a star” or due to the workings of his camera. He added: “I don’t on’t have such a powerful camera but it does appear to move around.

“I would be interested in other people’s ideas on what it might be.” However, this isn’t the only strange sighting to have been made in Cleethorpes in recent weeks, as resident Richard Lucy claims to have seen ‘lights’ which looked like ‘robotic faces like the autobots from the Transformers’.

Richard hd said: d“h “I have seen two bright lights in the sky over Cleethorpes several weeks ago after waking up and looking at the sky at 4am. “I went on the internet thinking they were Elon Musk satellites but they were not the same as the videos that I had seen.

“As it was getting light, I had another look from my bedroom window, one of the lights had gone from my vision and the one from the left had moved around so I could get a better look using binoculars.

“It was bright gold in colour at the front fading to blue green at the back and was moving from side to side, it then started rotating and I could make out what looked like lots of small lights which made up a robotic f face lk like one of fh the Autobots b f from Transformers. This particular light was in the.sky for several nights but couldG not be seen on cloudy nights, though I have seen it recently. “My conclusion is it’s some kind of mapping tracking satellite.”
