Masked man’s ACID ATTACK on woman’s car

A MASKED man has been caught on cammera spraying acid all over a woman’s Audi udi TT while it was parked outside her home. . Jan Boden, 62, has shared the shocking ng footage of the man emptying two bottles es over her car.

The perpetrato­r, who appears to be weararing a ski mask over his face, can be seen en throwing the liquid over the bonnet and nd side doors before fleeing.

The incident happened at 8.50pm on Saturday, October 17 on Lairgate Place in Cleethorpe­s.

Jan, a counsellor and therapist, says she he has no idea why she was targeted in the he attack, and has asked that anyone who saw aw it or thinks they have informatio­n come me forward.

She suspects that the man parked nearby by or had an accomplice waiting to drive him m away.

She said: “This person needs to be caught ht as what he did is really disturbing.

“I am a counsellor/therapist and help lp people with mental health issues and have ve never hurt anybody.

“I have helped hundreds of people in the he town, and have no idea why this has happpened.

“I am very worried about what might happen next. The acid or paint-stripper they used has completely ruined the front, side and back of the car.

“It’s come completely out of the blue.” She added to people who live in the local area: “Please check CCTV footage for any passing vehicles close by or somebody walking into the close or into the cutting on Grimsby Road.”

In the video, the man can be seen trying one bottle before running out of sight to retrieve a second one.

No other cars can be seen driving past at the time.

The video, which has been seen by more than 7,000 people on Facebook has been described as “horrendous” and “disgusting”.
