STRIPPING off for charity has become part of our national identity – celebs do it annually for our entertainment and to raise cash.
But in an effort to keep things interesting, producers are coming up with ever more inventive ways for people to take their clothes off.
So this time, as if doing a striptease wasn’t enough, now the brave people taking part must do it ON ICE… which conjures up all sorts of images. Promising to be “bolder and ballsier” than before, this festive edition once again sees Ashley Banjo and Coleen Nolan leading the pack, raising awareness about regular checks for breast, testicular and prostate cancer.
Joining their winter wonderland – without a thermal in sight – is the petrified class of 2020, who will be put through their paces for a daring, and chilly performance. Taking part in the women’s Full Monty are radio presenter and cancer survivor Dame Jenni Murray, actress Hayley Tamaddon, Love

Phillips, This Morning’s Dr Zoe Williams and model and actress Linda Lusardi. Meanwhile, on the men’s line-up are rugby star Gareth Thomas, actor Jamie Lomas, singer Jake Quickenden, Grand National winning jockey Bob Champion, Diversity’s Perri Kiely and Love Island’s Chris Hughes.

Each has experience of cancer and is desperate to raise awareness of key health messages. They will perform with some former Dancing On Ice professional skaters, while DOI’s Dan Whiston choreographs some amazing ice dance routines.
Ashley says: “Performing on ice will take the challenge to a whole new level – the celebrities won’t know what’s hit them! “What could possibly go wrong!?”
