THE SERPENT
A SERIES about a serial killer bumping off hippie travellers in the 1970s may not sound like the cheeriest of new year viewing but we are hooked on the Beeb’s new drama. Dunkirk’s Billy Howle is fantastic in it, while Victoria star Jenna Coleman, right, is quite mesmerising.
JOE WICKS
THE BODY Coach this week announced that his PE with Joe exercise classes will be making a return as the UK enters another national lockdown. Taking to Instagram, Joe said he was delighted to be bringing back the classes that kept the nation motivated during the first lockdown last March.

It has filed a notice to appoint administrators as it scrambles to secure its future.
PANIC BUYING
THERE were reports this week of supermarket shelves being stripped bare yet again as the UK settles into its third full lockdown. Have we not learned anything from the previous two? Pasta, tinned tomatoes and toilet roll will not run out. Well, not if shoppers don’t act like selfish idiots anyway.
THE GRAMMYS
THE glittering music awards ceremony had been due to take place at the end of this month but has been postponed due to coronavirus concerns, as cases rise in California. The event is now scheduled to take place on March 14.
