Get involved with online meeting to hear NHS’s plans for year ahead
A VIRTUAL event will take place for North East Lincolnshire residents to hear what’s happening with their local NHS.
The online meetings will give people a chance to find out how the coronavirus pandemic and the new lockdown will affect services. The Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Trust will also explain how patients are being supported, how Covid has impacted staff and the plans for 2021.

Dr Reading said: “The e pandemic has meant nt that the local NHS, S, including our hospital in n Grimsby, has faced a number of difficult chal- lenges in the past ten n months. “We are looking forward to holding our virtual event to update local people on how we are responding to the pandemic and our plans for the year ahead.”
Dr Peter Melton, CCG Clinical Chief Officer, will provide an update on primar primary care and how they are working with the Trust to support patients with coronavirus and ‘Long Covid’, and the rolling out of the lo local vaccination prog gramme.
Mark Webb, Chair of North East Lincolnshire CCG, said: “We know that with the announcement of another national lockd down, many people will be wondering what this means for our local NHS in 2021.
“Our previous virtual events have been hugely successful and well received by our local community, so we are delighted to be holding another one this month with our colleagues from the hospital Trust. We encourage as many people as possible to join us for what will be a very informative session.” Helen Kenyon, Chief Operating Officer at North East Lincolnshire CCG, will share the latest plans for transforming A&E services across the Humber region, and what this means for North East Lincolnshire.
Participants can submit questions before and during the meetings, as well as voting in live polls.
