CONTEST BACK WITH A BANG
PLYMOUTH’S British Firework Championships will be lighting up the city’s skies again this year after fizzling out in 2020 because of Covid-19.
The cancelled pyrotechnics spectacular is earmarked for August 18 and 19.
The event has been staged in Plymouth since 1997 and draws around 100,000 people to viewpoints around the harbour. A fun fair and food and drink stalls will be open on Plymouth Hoe before the event begins. See visitplymouth.co.uk
