THE new owner of Caistor Lakes Holiday Park has told how he fell in love with the location after it was recommended to him. Jeremy Levine, director in Sheffield investment firm Evogo Group, completed the purchase of the Lincolnshire Wolds site in a £1.9 million deal last month.

It had been highlighted by Robert Williamson, of Leeds-based Ernest Wilson Business Agents, who handled the sale for business founder Andrew Thompson.

“It is a beautiful park, Andrew has done an incredible job setting it up,” Mr Levine said.

“Robert had contacted me to tell me about the fact he had seen an incredible business and how beautiful it was.

“I loved my visit to the restaurant there, and I just really liked it. When I first went I said ‘I’m not going to buy the place’, but I fell in love with it.

“Now we’ve bought it we need to finish the six lodges and we will look to see if we can make the park better - it really is a beautiful place.

“We will look to invest and grow it, but to keep the same standard and service.”

Acknowledging a slight diversification from the innovative car subscription service and subsequent sales operation he heads up with fellow director Lee Streets, Mr Levine - who has also interests in motor finance - also appreciated the demand for domestic breaks as the pandemic restrictions ease too.

He said: “It is a nice investment in a different sector, and we hope it will do well.

“Demand will certainly be strong for the next 12 to 18 months, it is a great proposition.”
