ATTRACTION’S NOT TO BE MYTH-ED

A new multimillion-pound land, created by kids for kids, and home to the UK’s first ‘flying theatre’ ride, will open at Legoland Windsor on May 29.

Flight of the Sky Lion will be the 82ft high centrepiece of LEGO MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures, and riders will board big cat Maximus to swoop and dive over the fantasy landscape.

They will come face to face with a two-headed Hydra, a Fire and Ice Bird and the Chimera, a firebreathing hybrid creature from Greek mythology.

The land will also showcase 13 mythical creatures made from more than 1.7 million Lego bricks and a giant model of Maximus made of 685,530 bricks and weighing almost six tonnes.

Tickets start from £29 per person. See legoland.co.uk
