Your chance to help shape future of the Mariners

-

GRIMSBY Town’s new owners want to know what YOU would like to see from the club in the future.

New chairman Jason Stockwood and vice chair Andrew Pettit are now at the helm and will attempt to guide the Mariners back into calmer waters.

But far from being a closed shop when it comes to decision making, the duo are keen to take on board advice and suggestions from supporters and have launched a survey for fans to complete.

A statement from the duo said: “We’re delighted to be the new custodians of Grimsby Town and are looking forward to putting the club back at the heart of the local community.

“Before we do anything else, we want to hear from you – the most important stakeholders in the club – and get your views.

“We want the club to be welcoming, open and inclusive for all our supporters. This survey – which should take less than 10 minutes to complete – will provide us with some key information about the things we need to focus on in the short term as we begin to move towards a time when you will be able to come to watch matches again, as well as the longer-term, where we want the findings to form part of our strategic plans and thinking. “We’d appreciate your feedback and we’re giving away three pairs of tickets for a match next season – to be drawn from all those who complete the survey – where you’ll be invited to the board room and spend the day as a VIP guest of the club.”

While the survey is of course available to be completed online at the club’s website, the new owners recognise that some fans would prefer to do it the traditional way with a paper copy.

If you want a survey posted out to you, call 01472 605050 to request a paper copy or email the club at sam@gtfc.co.uk
