Labour need to be more in the middle to be top

-

FORTY years ago, the Labour Party was as unelectable as it is now because it was too far left for the majority of British voters.

Neil Kinnock became leader and had to fight for ten years to expel the leftist extremists called Militant, Kinnock never became PM but he laid the groundwork for Tony Blair to be elected.

Why is Labour unelectable now? Where do you start?

It picked the most far left anti British leader possible in Jeremy Corbyn and became a far-left party again. It forgot to be elected you must appeal to the majority not just minorities and the Woke London elite. To call those who voted for Brexit stupid racist bigots and passing a resolution at the Labour Party Conference to actively encourage migration is not a vote winner.

Britain has a long and varied history, some good some bad but to blame a lot of the modern world’s problems on Britain’s past Empire and slave trade as some Labour MPs do is wrong, and to denigrate some of our past heroes especially Churchill is totally wrong.

Churchill had his faults, he was an Imperialist and had what are now clearly racist views - as did a lot of Britons at that time.

But if he hadn’t become PM in 1940 the history of the world would have been totally different and some of our Woke Luvvies would have found out what a real racist was capable of if Hitler had won. Keir Starmer has a long struggle ahead, it won’t be months or a few years as Neil Kinnock found out in his fight for the real Labour Party. I just hope Keir is up to the job and one day we will have a Labour Party capable of running the country.
