Kelly Jayne Betteridge: About time too, they should enforce this order throughout the whole of North East Lincolnshire.

Parking on pavements is illegal, but far too many drivers ignore this law. Too many drivers don’t care that they are obstructing and blocking pavements and verges forcing pedestrians, especially wheelchair users, parents with prams and the elderly with walking aids out into the busy roads.

Lack of parking spaces is not an excuse to put other people’s lives at risk and illegally park.

Stace Webster: Be good if you could enforce the law outside schools.

Nikki Noo: Make the car park big enough for people to actually park in it!

Derek Williamson: Should enforce the same rules at Tollbar school. Jessica Hanley: Why can’t they cut the verge back and make it into permanent parking spaces? On busy days there isn’t enough room in the car park.

David West: It should be the same everywhere in North East Lincolnshire.

Matthew Gill: Then build a big enough car park. It’s not rocket science.

Ian Cheffings: The local councillor who says the car park is half empty when people park on the roadside wants to have a walk round the car park on a Sunday morning to see how full it is.

Simon McMenemy: They want to put more car parking in the football development centre then. It’s supposed to be the crown jewel of football development. The pitches are rubbish, the lines aren’t even straight. The grass is always long.

And I don’t think the bushes have ever been cut.

Joanne Cook: Need to enforce this outside Tollbar school.

Simon McMenemy: Open the gate on Laceby Road and allow parking on the grass that side of it.

Lyn Dunham: Why not, instead of having scraps of grass verge, have parking bays so cars can park tucked in from the road and not on the verges?

Adam Stevens: Where’s everyone meant to park then? What’s the harm two hours a week on a Sunday?

Oi Oi Melv: So where are they going to park? The council need to sort this. There’s loads of spare land off the Laceby Road side, make that into car parks.

Kevin Childs: Is it going to be on the new park and ride route from the new bus station?

Nigel Pirie: Then give them more off-road parking places, it’s that simple.

Alan Redgrift: There’s not enough parking on site so logic would say install parking grates along the verges.

Tony Newbegin: About time.

Lee R White: Good, fine the lot of them simple.
