The Prime Minister’s wellbeing was questioned this week after he rambled about Peppa Pig during a speech to business leaders. The PM lost his place, praised the cartoon pig and announced that “Peppa Pig World is very much my kind of

BULB ENERGY

Bulb, the UK’s seventh biggest supplier, has become the latest victim of a surge in wholesale gas prices. The firm is going into “special administra­tion”, meaning the Government shoulders losses for having to supply customers. For now, prices and supply will remain unchanged.

WINE AND SPIRITS

Trade body the Wine and Spirit Trade Associatio­n (WSTA) has written to Transport Secretary Grant Shapps, to say that rising costs and supply chain chaos have held up deliveries which could lead to a shortage at Christmas.

REFUNDS

People are missing out on getting their money back because they are too busy to return faulty items, a study found. Research by packaging firm DS Smith found 48% haven’t bothered returning a delivery because it is more hassle than it’s worth.
