CCTV images of males who were allegedly involved in the ram-raid of a popular Cleethorpes clothing shop have been shared by the business on social media.

The incident was carried out by four men in balaclavas and took place at around midnight on Tuesday, June 14, at the Betty McKenzie boutique in the Market Place.

A quad bike was used to tear down the shop shutters before it reversed repeatedly into the doorway. The men then stole thousands of pounds worth of Boss and Timberland clothing and caused significant damage.

Shop director Julie Hurst told Grimsby Live that the alarm was raised shortly after midnight by a homeless man and residents living above the shops after they heard the quad bike tearing around the Market Place.

Humberside Police later chased the gang along Peaks Parkway and towards Nunsthorpe where the quad bike was found.

Now, the owners have shared CCTV images of the suspects on the shop’s Facebook page. They wrote: “As many of you may have seen we were ram raided just after midnight this morning. There were 4 lads involved, a quad bike and a moped. It has caused damage to our shop and a lot of stock was taken.

“We have decided to offer a reward for any i n f o rma t i o n leading to the arrests of any or all of them. Any information of any Boss or Timberland clothing circulating the area would be greatly appreciated and received in the strictest of confidence, please send us a direct message. Thank you.”

Humberside Police officers are examining the CCTV footage and have asked anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting log number 8 of Tuesday, June 14.
